Arrival & Departure

Check-in is available from 2pm. Check-out is 10am the day of departure.

WIFI

Complimentary unlimited internet access is available via WIFI. For best connection choose the signal corresponding to your room number and use access code 42424242.

Car parks

One car park is available per unit. Please ensure your visitors park on the street.

Daily Room Service

All units will be serviced daily unless you request otherwise. Our amazing staff will be available between the hours of 9am – 2pm,

Your in-room amenities will be restocked as required.

Our policy is that our housekeeping staff will not move your personal items which may impede what our staff can do. Should you specifically want the bed made please make sure that it is clear of personal belongings.

We have a policy to conserve our natural resources, so if you are happy to re-use your towels please hang them on the towel rail. If you would like fresh ones, please place them on the floor.

Guest Laundry

A complimentary guest laundry is located towards the front of the building and can be accessed with your room key code from 8am – 9pm.

Air-conditioning – heating & cooling

Your room is equipped with heat pump air conditioning. To operate, locate the remote in its wall mounted cradle, point towards the heat pump, and press the yellow ON button. Be patient, the unit may take a few minutes to fully initiate. Adjust the temperature as desired with the + and – buttons.

TV & SKY

Your room is equipped with mySKY and your TV is connected to the internet.

Security

Please ensure that the front and rear doors of your room are securely locked when your room is not occupied.

We also recommend that you do not leave valuable items in your car overnight.

A small safe is provided in your room. The combination is clearly displayed inside the door.

Bikes are not permitted to be stored in your room. We have storage available for bikes by arrangement, please get in touch.

Supermarket

New World Supermarket is located two minutes’ walk to the south end of Dunstan Street and is open 7am – 10pm.

Breakfast, Dining & Takeaways

There are takeaway options on the main road within walking distance. Several more options are located in Otaki township a short drive down Mill Road.

Most of the local cafes are open for breakfast. The closest are approximately two minutes walk:

-          The Riverstone Café – open from 6am.

-          Reds Café – open from 9am.

Cooking

Please avoid cooking odoriferous foods in your room. A cleaning surcharge of one night’s accommodation may apply to your account.

To use the cooktop follow these instructions or what the short video below:

1. Ensure isolator switch (generally above the cooktop on the wall) is turned on.
2. On the cooktop hold your finger on the ON button (on the right) for a second. The cooktop will beep and light up.
3. Using one of the two left hand buttons select the ring you wish to use by gently tapping the button with your finger.
4. Then, select the power for that ring gently tapping either of the middle buttons - right for increasing and left for decreasing power.
5. When you're finished simply hold your finger on the ON button again for a second and the cooktop will power off. Be careful as the rings may remain hot for some time.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in our rooms, but service animals are welcome.

Damage & maintenance

Accidents happen. If you have a breakage or a spillage or something needs repairing or replacing please let us know. We will endeavour to remedy the problem as soon as possible so you can get back to enjoying your stay.

Visitors

Your friends are welcome to visit. You are responsible for their behaviour whilst on the property. Your visitors should depart quietly before 10pm.

Outdoor spaces

All of our ground floor rooms have a rear outdoor area for your enjoyment. Please respect our other guests and neighbours by being mindful of the noise you make during your stay.

Smoking

Smoking is a big no-no at Littel. If you choose to smoke in our rooms charges will apply. An ashtray is located at the rear of the carpark for your convenience.

Cots and high chairs

A cot and a high chair is available upon request (subject to availability).

Fire Alarm & Evacuation

If you discover a fire operate the fire alarm at the nearest call point, then contact the fire service immediately. From a safe phone dial 111.

When warned of a fire in the building leave immediately via the main door to your suite. Follow the EXIT signs and leave the property via the car park and main driveway.

Assemble on the footpath to the right of the main entrance. Stay at the assembly point until the “all clear” is given.

Medical Care

Doctor. The Otaki Medical Centre in Aotaki St is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday mornings. For afterhours care try Team Medical in Paraparaumu.

Dentist. You’re in luck, Lumino dentist is located across the road and few doors up. Open during business hours.
